WAUKESHA, Wis. — A Wisconsin family is making a public plea to save their 5-month-old boy who needs a partial liver transplant.

Doctors say baby Marcus will not live long unless he finds a donor. Marcus needs part of a stranger's liver, given from the heart. He suffers from an extremely rare disease called immuno-deficiency 47, that has destroyed his liver.

You could be the person who saves Marcus' life. Donors must have the blood type of either O Positive or O Negative. You must also be under 40, a non-smoker and weigh less than 150 pounds.

If you might be a match, send an email to marcustransplantchw@gmail.com or call Froedtert Hospital Living Donor Coordinator at 414-805-1437 or 414-805-1438.

You can also donate to Marcus' GoFundMe page here.
