(WXYZ) — A 24-year-old woman has been arrested after crashing a stolen Ferndale police car Friday morning.
The woman allegedly stole a Ferndale patrol car and led officers on a chase that ended in the area of 7 Mile and Stoepel in Detroit.
When police took her into custody, she allegedly said, "I just wanted to have some fun."
Officers believe she may have some sort of mental illness and could possibly be homeless.
No one was injured.
