Waterford police are investigating after a woman was found shot and killed inside a home Friday afternoon.
According to police, they were contacted by a relative to do a welfare check around 5:30 p.m. Friday. When officers arrived at the home in the 200 block of Tilmor, they found the woman dead. That's near Elizabeth Lake Rd. and M-59.
Investigators interviewed the 34-year-old woman's boyfriend, who admitted he shot the woman during an argument at the home.
He was arrested and is currently in the Oakland County Jail. According to police, investigators will submit their findings to the Oakland County Prosecutor's Office on Monday with a warrant for Felony Murder.
