You are invited to a baby shower to help homeless babies!

It is called the "Every Baby Deserves a Royal Welcome Shower”.  Last year it was held as Prince William and Kate Middleton prepared for their baby’s birth.

Now it is happening again, this Sunday at the Metropolitan United Methodist Church on Woodward in Detroit.

If you want to come just bring a gift for the babies served by Cass Community Shelters. There is a great need for diapers, baby formula, baby wipes, paper towels, standard laundry soap, body wash, twin size sheets & blankets.

Raffle tickets will be given for donations of these items.

Lunch is provided thanks to generous donations from Domino's Pizza, Garden Fresh Salsa, the Clarkston Union and others! Several members of the 7 Action News team will be there.

7 Action News reporter Kim Russell will help emcee and Dr. Nandi will speak.

It has a royal theme, so be sure to wear your best tea party hat. The best hat wins a prize.

You can also make donations to https://www.crowdrise.com/every-baby-deserves-a-royal-welcome/fundraiser/kimrussell7.  Kim will go shopping Sunday morning before the shower to buy gifts from you for babies in need.
