DETROIT (WXYZ) -- The Tigers announced Sunday that shortstop Jose Iglesias is scheduled to begin a rehab assignment Monday with triple-A Toledo.
Iglesias has been on the 15-day disabled list since August 12 with a left hamstring strain.
The team's official injury report lists Iglesias running on an "anti-gravity treadmill" as of August 16, with a designated return of "possibly late August."
Iglesias is hitting .249 the season with 4 home runs and 27 RBI.
