AUBURN HILLS, Mich. (WXYZ) -- Despite rumors circulating earlier in the week, the Pistons ultimately did not make any moves by Thursday's trade deadline.

Various reports throughout the week indicated the Pistons were considering offers for Andre Drummond, Reggie Jackson, and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope.

Head coach Stan Van Gundy expressed amusement at some of the reports when speaking to reporters before Thursday's game at The Palace.

"The 'inside sources,' who knew what we were doing, those are the ones I love, who's the 'inside source' - it would have to be Jeff or I," said Van Gundy with a grin. "They struck out."

Van Gundy got serious though when discussing his team's focus entering the final stretch of the regular season.

"We weren't going to just give guys away to make a deal. We think we've got a pretty good overall picture of who we are, we'll keep moving ahead and hopefully play better over these last 25 (games.)"
