ANN ARBOR, Mich. (WXYZ) -- Carol Hutchins is the winningest coach in NCAA softball history and a staple of the University of Michigan sports scene.
But the overall number of wins isn't what Hutchins is focused on -- just the next one.
"Right now that's all we're focused on, just trying to play the next game and seeing where Team 38 can go," Hutchins told Kacie Hollins during a recent interview.
Over the course of her 32 seasons in Ann Arbor, Hutchins has witnessed the growth of her program, as well as women's sports as a whole.
"I could've never envisioned playing on ESPN or playing in a five million dollar facility," said Hutchins. "The opportunities for women have grown tremendously, and I don't think we're done yet."
