Former University of Michigan and current Philadelphia Eagles defensive tackle Mike Martin is holding a football camp for kids on Sunday, July 17.

The camp takes place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Ann Arbor Pioneer High School and will feature college and high school coaches.

"It's something that I wish I had as a kid, to come out and work with some NFL guys, learn the techniques of the game, and go out and have a blast," Martin said on the Suburban Ford 7 Sports Cave.

The camp not only teaches football techniques, but also gives the kids between 3rd grade and 8th grade some life lessons.

"We have a whole section that we take to just talk to them, help them out with some thoughts that will help them later on in life," he said. "Obviously, school being the number one key, working hard, and just being a good person and having other guys give them some words of wisdom, it really helps them."

The camp only costs $25, and you can register by July 13 by visiting gomikemartin.com/camp.
