Michigan and their first round opponent Oklahoma State, are well-matched. They both like to play and they both possess a highly efficient offense.

"It's a unique matchup in the fact that in some aspects we're kind of guarding ourselves," said senior guard Duncan Robinson.

Both the Wolverines and the Cowboys shoot about 46 per cent from the field and both teams have a nice roster of proficient three-point shooters.

"They have a great point guard. They make a lot of threes so we have to be able to run them off the three-point line," said senior guard Zak Irvin.

Due to the fact that these teams are so similar on offense, one of the big keys to this game will be slowing down the tempo and playing lockdown defense.

Michigan and Oklahoma State tip off Friday afternoon at Banker Life Fieldhouse at 12:15pm.
