President George W. Bush spoke at Mike Ilitch's celebration of life in Detroit on Wednesday.
Mr. Bush called Ilitch a patriot, and had some fun at his late friend's expense.
"He loved the Red Wings, and they were mighty. He loved the Tigers, and they weren't so mighty. Of course the Texas Rangers never won anything anyway," Bush said.
