Metro Detroit traffic: Updates on construction, closures for your morning commute

Before you head out of the door for your morning commute, here are some traffic updates to keep on the radar:

St Clair Shores
Road construction. Roadway reduced to one lane
Jefferson Ave Both NB/SB between 9 Mile Rd and 10 Mile Rd
Scheduled through late May

Washtenaw
Road construction. Roadway reduced to one lane
Joy Rd Both EB/WB near Whitmore Lake Rd
Expect two-way traffic to be maintained on one lane by utilizing a temporary traffic signal for bridge work. Scheduled until mid-June.

Southfield
Road construction
Lahser Rd Both NB/SB between W 12 Mile Rd and W 13 Mile Rd
Lane restrictions are scheduled through May 5
