Metro Detroit Weather: Showers exit, sun returns

Showers have mostly been south and west of Detroit overnight. Most of the rain has moved out, but isolated showers are still possible until mid-morning before sunshine will replace the clouds as we move through the day.

The 4th of July looks fantastic for outdoor plans.

This morning: A few showers south and west of Detroit ending by mid-morning. Clouds slowly give way to sunshine from north to south. Temps: 64-70 / Winds: N 5
 
This afternoon: Turning mostly sunny and still seasonably warm with comfortable humidity. Highs: 80-84 / Winds: N-NE 5-10
 
Tonight: Mostly clear, comfortable. Lows: 55-62, coolest well outside Detroit / Winds: NE 5
 
4th of July/Tuesday: Partly to mostly sunny with pleasant humidity levels continuing. Highs: 80-84
