Grant Me Hope: Brian likes to swim and dance

Posted

Brian – who goes by “B.J.” – enjoys giving hugs and being around people.  He’s 11-years-old going into the 5th grade.

He is outgoing and personable.  His caseworker says he can brighten up a room with his smile.

He is primarily non-verbal, but he can say a few words. Brian mainly likes to communicate through writing – especially with his iPad.  Despite the fact that Brian is non-verbal, he is quite intelligent. Brian attends school and does very well academically.

He loves dancing to music, going swimming, putting together puzzles, and playing with wooden or magnet letters.

Superheroes and cars interest him a lot, too.

He also loves to go out to dinner.  His favorite foods include chocolate, candy, crackers, bread and meat.

He would do best in a household with two parents based on his needs.
