Farmington Hills man charged in Dooley's Tavern fatal shooting

ROSEVILLE, Mich. (WXYZ) — Roseville police have released information regarding the shooting that left one dead at Dooley's Tavern in Roseville.

Farmington Hills resident Michael Deshawn Altman-Tucker was arraigned on Wednesday with three charges. Altman-Tucker is being charged with homicide-murder second-degree, assault with intent to murder and a weapons-felony firearm.

Roseville police state in a news release that Altman-Tucker's bond is set at $1 million. The Farmington Hills man is scheduled to return to court on March 16.

According to police Altman-Tucker shot two people inside of Dooley's Tavern on Feb. 26. One of the victims was shot several times and did not survive, according to Roseville police. The other victim was injured during the shooting but their injuries are said to not be serious as this time.

According to Roseville police, the person killed was attempting to remove someone from the bar, when that man pulled out a gun and started shooting. We're told Julius Bing, 36, was the security guard at Dooley’s and died from multiple gunshot wounds.

Update from Feb. 27:

A 25-year-old suspect from Farmington Hills was arrested Saturday night after allegedly shooting two individuals at Dooley's Tavern in Roseville.

According to Roseville police, the suspect was fighting with Dooley's Tavern bar employees as he was being escorted from the premises. The police news release states that the suspect allegedly pulled out a firearm and shot a 36-year-old male from Warren several times. The 36-year-old was transported to a local hospital and was declared deceased.

Roseville police say a second individual was injured during the incident, but their injuries are believed to not be serious.

The alleged suspect will be arraigned this week.
