Spotlight on the News: Why are more and more students choosing community colleges?

On Sunday, September 25, Spotlight on the News will feature a conversation with four S.E. Michigan community college presidents.  What are their thoughts about education in Michigan and why are more and more students choosing 2-year institutions? 

Guests will include Dr. Curtis Ivery, Chancellor of the Wayne County Community College District;  Dr. James Jacobs, President of Macomb Community College;  Dr. Timothy Meyer, Chancellor of Oakland Community College and Dr. Stan Jensen, President of Henry Ford Community College.

Spotlight on the News, now in its 51th season, is Michigan's longest-running weekly news and public affairs television program. It airs every Sunday at 10:00 a.m. on WXYZ-TV/Channel 7 in Detroit and 2:30 p.m. on 23.1 WKAR-HD in East Lansing and 6 p.m. on 23.2 WKAR World.
