CLINTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WXYZ) — A Clinton Township woman sits in jail accused of beating her mother. The elderly woman later died.
Prosecutors say Ann Marie Walsh neglected, mistreated, and abused her elderly mother.
It allegedly happened inside their apartment off north grange. Police were called to the home back on August 8th.
Her mother had several broken bones and a brain bleed that left her on a ventilator. She died after being hospitalized for several weeks.
During the investigation, police also found dents in the walls and blood splattered throughout her mother's bedroom.
Walsh has been locked up in the Macomb County Jail since her arrest last month. She could face additional charges, depending on what the investigation determines.
