INKSTER, Mich. (WXYZ) — An expectant mom is outraged over the garbage in her garage. She says the mountain of mess that does not belong to her has been there far too long.
She reached out to 7 Action News for help. We went to the home and city hall to get action.
7 Action News Reporter Andrea Isom found some valuable information that everyone looking to rent a property should know.
The City of Inkster’s Building Department Administrator Curt Kropp always recommends potential tenants call the building department of the city they are looking to live in and ask if the property is registered and if they are certified.
Kropp believes, in most cases, property owners who follow the rules in the beginning are more likely to listen to the issues or concerns of their tenants.
Also, make sure you know your rights as a renter. Michiganlegalhelp.org can help residents solve their legal problems.
