A deadly crash involving several vehicles shut down traffic for hours at a busy intersection in Dearborn Heights tonight.
Police were on scene for several hours, reconstructing the accident at the intersection of Cherry Hill Road and Inkster Road.
Dearborn Heights officers received assistance from Taylor and inkster police as well.
A total of 5 cars were smashed up. It’s not clear if it was all connected or possibly even 2 separate accidents.
The victim is an older male driver. His identity is unknown at this point.
We still don't know what caused the crash.
The intersection remains almost entirely shut down and has been since about 6:30 pm.
Police have yet to issue a press release or make any more statements.
