WESTLAND, Mich. (WXYZ) — Westland police have released surveillance video of two suspects wanted in connection with a retail fraud case at the Sears store at Westland Mall.
The investigation began after an incident on February 3.
Police say both suspects can be seen on camera at the jewelry counter multiple times. They were also both seen reaching behind the counter and "defeating the locking system for the display cases."
Officers say both men put merchandise into their pockets before leaving the store.
The first suspect is a white man, 25-35 years old, 5'08”-5’10”, 180-200 lbs, wearing a Michigan State hooded sweatshirt, jeans, and baseball hat that is possibly partially camouflage.
The second suspect is a white man approx. 30-40 years old, 6’00”-6’02”, 150-180 lbs, wearing jeans and a dark colored coat.
