DEARBORN HEIGHTS, Mic. (WXYZ) — Two men have been charged with Armed Robbery and Fleeing a Police Officer in connection with Thursday's robbery of a box truck in Dearborn Heights.
Kaylen Banks and Antonio McLean have both also been charged as habitual offenders.
The men were arrested following a police chase that began in the area of Van Born and Heather Lane following a traffic stop. It proceeded along eastbound I-94 to the area of 8 Mile and Schafer, where the suspects stopped and ran from the truck.
They were arrested quickly with the assistance of Michigan State Police and other agencies.
Both men have been arraigned and bond was set at $500,000.
