A serial pool pooper has been banned for the rest of the summer from going to a community pool in Macomb County.

The Buckingham Recreational Facilities Association, which oversees the day-to-day operations of the subdivision on 23 Mile Road, near Romeo Plank, sent out a memo.

“In reviewing the recorded video, we have identified the member responsible. This member will not be allowed to return to the pool for the remainder of the season. In addition, we are looking at the various options for restitution.”

The person’s identity has not been revealed.

The pool was shut down around the 4th of July holiday after the association said someone defecated in the pool several times in one week. The pool was drained, sanitized and filled again.

The pool is now open to residents from 9:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Macomb County Sheriff's Sgt. Renee Yax told WXYZ that a police report on the serial pooper was never filed, so no charges will be coming, as of now.
