A 9-year-old boy has been rushed to the hospital after being found unresponsive in a Southfield hotel pool.
The scene is at the Baymont Inn on Northwestern. The incident happened around 7:15 p.m.
According to a witness, the waters in the pool were "murky", which made locating the boy difficult.
Police say they were called to the scene and began CPR on the boy. He ws then taken to Providence Hospital in Southfield, where he is listed in critical condition and receiving medical treatment.
