Metro Detroit teen robbed at gunpoint while trying to sell iPhone

A 16-year-old was robbed at gunpoint after arranging to meet a buyer for his iPhone, according to the Oakland County Sheriff's Office.

The victim stated he was selling his iPhone on Facebook Marketplace and arranged to meet the buyer at a local business in the area of Martin Luther King and Perry in Pontiac.

When the buyer arrived, he was accompanied by two other people. The buyer then produced a handgun and took the victim's phone. 

Deputies located the suspect on Michigan St. in Pontiac. The victim's iPhone was recovered along with two airsoft handguns. 

Three men were arrested: two 18-year-olds and one 21-year-old.
