Novi police searching for man suspected of robbing GNC store

Novi Police Officers are searching for a man suspected of robbing a GNC store on Grand River Avenue.

According to officers, the store employee was approached by a white man with his face concealed by a bandana.

The man demanded money after producing a semi-automatic handgun. The employee gave him an undisclosed amount of cash and the suspect fled on foot.

The suspect is described as 20-30 years old, 5 feet 8 inches, average build, short patchy facial hair, blue eyes and brown hair. 

He was wearing baggy camouflage pants, a hooded sweatshirt and black gloves.

Officers determined the man visited the store prior to the robbery.
